Galeon 430 Micro-Explorer: Designed For Chi-Chi Adventures
Just how much external relaxation space do four guests need on a yacht exactly? According to Galeon, three.
A Beamy Trawler
The Polish builder Galeon has announced its super-compact adventure yacht, the Galeon 430. It’s an ideal size for small families, and accommodates four guests across two cabins. It combines sporty performance, go-anywhere capability, and intelligent space usage for cruising, making it a perfect weekender. It is also handsomely rugged. Its forward-positioned superstructure is poised to navigate uncharted waters.
Designed for long-range cruising to thrilling destinations, this explorer yacht combines a powerful, contemporary aesthetic with smart technology and modular design solutions, ensuring unforgettable experiences and comfort. The reverse-angled bow and windscreen, with tinted glass, contribute to the explorer aesthetic that is bold and punchy enough to make intrepid boaters weak at the knees.

Layout and Accommodation
The expansive flybridge features a U-shaped sofa, a dedicated dining area, a wet bar with grill, and a forward helm station, all set up to make life onboard a convivial setting for relaxation. In fact, there is ample relaxation space for just four guests. Including a lengthy aft bathing platform on the main deck. The saloon features a smart design, and since this is an owner-operated boat, the relationship between the helm and the rest of the yacht has been carefully designed. For example, near the helm, Galeon has added a companion seat and table.
Other thoughtfully designed features, such as the reclinable backrest, seat extension and signature fold-out balconies, offer new ways to relax and connect with the sea.
The backrest on the aft seat reclines. An extra cushion extends to meet the fold-out balcony, allowing guests to relax right on the water’s edge.

The cockpit’s seating can spin to face the water. The saloon’s large sliding doors and reversible dinette sofa further connect the interior to the outdoor lounge.
The elevated pilothouse offers a perfect viewing platform, protected from the elements, and provides easy access to the forward deck via doors on both sides. Below deck is a full-beam owner’s cabin forward and a guest cabin with a large utility area.
